JOB DESCRIPTION – BIM/CAD Site Manager

NIKA is seeking a BIM/CAD professional with experience managing a centralized BIM/CAD function, overseeing the quality and timely delivery of services. As the BIM/CAD Site Manager, you will manage the creation and sustainment of a portfolio of facility drawings and documents within a state-of-the-art document management system.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a team of BIM/CAD specialists supporting the collection, validation and sustainment of all as-built drawings
  • Establish technical document and archival standards to include: naming conventions, file structure, document access control, document revisions, indexing and archiving
  • Meet with stakeholders in collaboration and coordination of work
  • Review received drawings from a variety of sources to ensure quality control
  • Conduct onsite collection and review of as-built drawings to develop a baseline
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for ongoing collection and sustainment of as-built drawings
  • Advise client on best practices and implementation of standard operating procedures
  • Adhere to financial budgets and deadlines
  • Coordinate the work of direct reports

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Experience with contract administration for federal contracts
  • Experience managing BIM/CAD/GIS resources and programs
  • Experience developing and implementing customer service plans and programs
  • Experience managing a team greater than 10 FTEs
  • Previous experience with professional services firm is required
  • Superior report and policy writing skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Proficiency in both AUTOCAD and Bentley
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10-15 times per year
  • Must be able to work in a multi-discipline team environment and take ownership of a project

EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Architecture, Engineering, Information Technology, or Construction related disciplines
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with federal contract administration and daily operation of customer service center
  • Appropriate certifications and technical proficiency
  • Must possess an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
