NIKA is hiring for an exciting opportunity as a Chief Facility Engineer to be Responsible for the overall management and operation of the mechanical, life safety, electrical and plumbing operations of associated facilities and grounds at Fort Meade, Md!

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for the overall management and operation of the mechanical, life safety, electrical and plumbing operations of associated facilities and grounds.
  • Knowledge, operation and repair experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, chillers, boilers, pumps, air handlers, equipment predictive/preventative maintenance and emergency power systems
  • Monitoring and implementing energy conservation measures
  • Experience with building management systems, including CMMS, BAS and fire protection systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer licensed and registered in the State of Maryland
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience as a CFE in government facilities
  • Must have or be able to attain a Security Clearance
