NIKA is hiring for an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Director of Facilities Operations working out of our Rockville, MD HQ office!  This position will primarily be supervising Program and Project Managers who are responsible for select customer channels and require close interaction with our customers and entire back office team that includes Contracts, Accounting and Finance, Business Development, HR and Recruiting, and Security.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages and oversees the day-to-day delivery of operations and services provided to customers on existing and new projects/programs.
  • Supports EVP of FOM in annual strategic activities to include annual budgets, rolling monthly forecasts, business case analysis, contract negotiations, pricing, proposals, and P&L management.
  • Establishes appropriate job specific performance standards and holds FOM supervisory staff accountable in regard to standards and expectations and targeted yearly goals.
  • Actively coordinates and manages processes with all back-office functions including Contracts, Accounting and Finance, HR, Recruiting, and Security.
  • Develops and maintains exceptional customer working relationships and ensures the delivery of contracted and new services.
  • Establishes and maintains the confidence and respect of the Executive Leadership Team, Operations Managers, Area Managers, Account Managers, site personnel, and customers.
  • Oversees and monitors staffing, budgets, and service delivery for all projects and customer locations interfacing with the EVP of FOM for each project.
  • Enforces the highest standard of quality control. Additionally, follows up to resolve problem situations that arise in this process
  • Implements quality control methods and procedures, actively oversees and assesses project delivery quality levels.
  • Assist the Business Development team with shaping the RFP, determining customer intimacy and identifying strengths and weaknesses of the organization in pursuit of the opportunity.
  • Assist in proposal preparations including but not limited to site visits, bases of estimates, key personnel solicitations and selection, technical and pricing input and reviews.
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills, being able to work effectively with all levels of employees and various types of clients.
  • Develops and administers cost containment/reduction activities across FOM division
  • Evaluates the work performance of all direct reports quarterly and annually.
  • Performs ad hoc assignments and projects as needed or as requested by the executive leadership team.


  • B.S or B.A in Business, Finance, Engineering, Architecture or other related fields required.
  • 10+ years’ experience in operations and maintenance and/or Base Operations Support (BOS) program management required.
  • Secret or TS Clearance preferred, but not required. Must be eligible for clearance or obtaining CAC.
  • Travel – 20%-35%
