We’re on a nationwide search for an experienced Tableau data visualization and dashboard developer to work on a large enterprise data warehouse contract. Work out of our cool DC area office or from the comfort of your own home office if you live outside the region!

As part of our Engineering Analytics team, you’ll be responsible for supporting the design, development, and implementation of Tableau solutions, and working with the database development team on designing structures to support the solution.

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related discipline from an accredited college/university

Position Requirements

  • Strong familiarity with DMLSS-FM and associated datasets
  • At least 5+ years of total business intelligence experience
  • At least 2+ years of experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations within Tableau
  • Experience with ETL
  • Experience using logical approaches to problem solving that involve several concrete and abstract variables
  • Expert SQL writing skills with a strong understanding of relational and dimensional data models
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and support business analysts as they work with business and IT contacts to identify, analyze, and document business requirements for reports and dashboards using Tableau.
  • Experience working with database developers on the design and development of SQL code to structure and store data for reporting.
  • Ability to design and implement proof-of-concept solutions and create advanced business intelligence visualizations
  • Ability to develop impactful presentations and documents

Additional Skills

  • Experience with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics
  • Experience gathering and refining requirements, interviewing business users to understand and document data requirements
  • Confidence in communicating complex topics to the team through both written and oral communications
  • Ability to interact with users and understand their requirements
  • Strong attention to detail, documenting business and technical requirements based on user interviews

  • Must be a US citizen capable of obtaining and holding a Department of Defense security clearance
