NIKA is hiring for an Electrician to support the Base Operations (BOS) Contract at Wright – Patterson AFB, Ohio.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Installs, repairs or replaces, modifies, maintains, and tests new and existing electrical circuits, systems, fixtures,
panels, switches, breakers, and controls
Installs, repairs or replaces, modifies, maintains, and tests new and existing electrical systems covered under this contract or electrical systems serving other systems covered under contract.
Uses and maintains various types of hand and/or power tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, soldering irons, cable pullers, hydraulic benders, and pipe threading machines, etc.
Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years at journeyman level/or equal license, with commercial / industrial experience is required.
Shall possess documentation of the successful completion of a registered apprenticeship program for electricians.
Must demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities gained through formal training and/or experience to perform the duties described above.
Must be US Citizen
