Marketing & Research Analyst

NIKA is seeking a full-time Marketing and Research Analyst to join our dynamic marketing and proposals team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing and Proposals, the Marketing and Research Analyst will have the opportunity to play a key role in coordinating and implementing creative marketing programs with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, the coordination of/assistance with all internal/external marketing, social media strategy, events, development of online content, public relations, and proposal support. Additionally, the Marketing and Research Analyst will support the Strategic Growth Team with market research and analysis.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

Marketing Communications

Internal Communications

  • Design and maintain all marketing material (e.g., brochures, cutsheets, etc.) and content libraries
  • Design and create internal email communications and signage for employee communications and offices
  • Design, develop, and manage the quarterly NIKA internal newsletter
  • Prepare and submit award nominations on behalf of the company or individuals
  • Writing, editing, design support for Business Units as needed

External Communications

  • Manage and develop corporate website content including monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc updates
  • Plan, coordinate and provide support for external events/tradeshows
  • Prepare customer presentations using marketing resource materials such as brochures, data, slides, photographs and reports
  • Assist with the development of articles/stories/editorial for press and media outlets

Social Media Strategy

  • Manage the firm’s social media presence and prepare quarterly social media plans (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
  • Manage all posts to social media outlets
  • Develop strategy to increase and engage with followers

Research and Analysis

  • Support the Strategic Growth Team with researching opportunities for Pipeline development
  • Support Research Development and Analysis for strategic growth planning
  • Coordinate and manage all research requests from Strategic Growth Team
  • Support the Capture process with gathering intel, contract information, and solicitations for Capture Meetings and Pipeline support

General Marketing Support

  • Assist in the branding of all NIKA related marketing
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of company and partnership events (sport outings, golf tournaments, social events, etc.)
  • Manage all Business Card design and purchasing for employees
  • Manage and maintain all NIKA Promotional Items including establishing and maintaining vendor relationships and tracking all promotional stock
  • Manage the Promotional Items yearly budget
  • Maintain Trade Association Membership and Event Registration and Logistics
  • Maintain and update all vendor contact information

Proposal Support

  • Design, develop, edit graphics for proposal development
  • Edit and format resumes and corporate experience references for use in proposal submissions
  • Design and develop proposal production items including covers, tabs, CD labels, etc.
  • Maintain Graphics Library in the Proposal Content Library
  • Assist in the production of proposal submissions

Job Requirements and Essential Skills:

  • 3 – 6 years of marketing experience preferably in the government contracting industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Experience with social media tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
  • Experience with website design and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, etc.)
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Knowledge of GovWin preferred
  • Knowledge of (or other CRM systems) preferred but not required
  • Ability and willingness to travel

Education, Training and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related field required
