NIKA is hiring for an Operations and Management (O&M) Project Manager to perform on-site operations and maintenance QA services at the Keller Army Community Hospital, West Point, NY!!

· Associate degree or higher education preferred

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing on-site operations & maintenance QA services at West Point MEDDAC facilities – including Keller ACH, Allgood Clinic, Keller Generator Building, Cadet Health Clinic, Arvin Gym PT Clinic, and Camp Buckner Aid Station IACH.
  • This support will include but is not limited to:
    • Evaluating schedules
    • work performance quality
    • safety oversight, coordination, and effectiveness
    • performing documentation reviews
    • QA duties as identified by the WP MEDDAC Facilities staff for all operations and maintenance work in progress or in planning stages at WP MEDDAC.
  • Coordinate actions daily with the FM, PM, or staff personnel, as required.
  • Attend all meetings relevant to the execution of the operations & maintenance program.
  • Be prepared to provide an oral, weekly report to government officials in order to apprise them of project status, as necessary.
  • Be available during times of all on-going activities by pager or cellular phone and shall be available to be on site when problems or issues arise. Ensures conformance with NFPA codes, TJC standards, safety standards, and other agency criteria.
  • Coordinate with facility infection control officers to insure compliance.
  • Coordinate with facility safety officers to implement effective safety policies.
  • Report compliance issues to COR or other applicable Government official for action by the Government.
  • Provide timely coordination with hospital staff to ensure proper reviews and notification of projects and utility outages.

Job Requirements and Essential Skills:

  • 3-5 years of Operations and Maintenance QA Services experience preferably within healthcare facilities and/or federal facilities
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a government security clearance
  • Be able to work a 40 hour work week, 8 hours a day Monday-Friday
  • Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and listening skills and the ability to communicate with various levels within the organization
  • Ability to learn and use company software tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Extremely high level of attention to detail and the ability to take initiative and adapt quickly to changing requirements
