You’ll serve as a key liaison between DMLSS software programmers and end users to gather and define software business rules and functional requirements. Education

  • High school diploma required, higher education preferred

Position Requirements

  • 3+ years of DMLSS/DMLSS-FM required
  • 3+ years of Help Desk experience required
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with CAD drawings and Drawbase software highly desired
  • Writing business rules and functional requirements according to standard templates, using simple and concise language, documenting projects, and participating in design reviews.
  • Providing Tier III DMLSS-FM Help Desk support (Tier III addresses the most complex issues) to the Air Force (AF) military, civilian and contractor personnel using the DMLSS-FM system.
  • Managing and staffing a DMLSS-FM Help Desk program for AF medical treatment facilities (MTF).
  • Entering Help Desk tickets to document problems reported and closing help desk tickets when complete.
  • Following-up on status of Help Desk tickets via telephone and/or e-mail to resolve open tickets.
  • Remotely accessing MTF DMLSS servers to gather information to assist with resolving Help Desk tickets.
  • Entering and managing “Trackers” for Help Desk tickets that require targeted data clean-up via data patch or a software bug fix.
  • Remotely accessing MTF DMLSS servers to run Business Objects reports in support of gathering data for data calls, performance metrics, and monthly reports
  • Performing daily software regression testing of the FM application. This includes the 20+ modules within FM and the Drawbase and Business Objects software.
  • Managing, identifying, and documenting software problems.
  • Validating test plans against development requirements to ensure application integrity.
  • Testing and evaluating DMLSS software functionality as it is developed.

Other Qualifications

  • Good communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Must be eligible for DoD Security Clearance; Active Public Trust or Secret Clearance highly desired
