NIKA is hiring for a Project Manager to manage and administer an operations and maintenance and vertical transportation equipment services contract in Honolulu, HI!

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing leadership, management, oversight, and execution of contract requirements.
  • Will provide technical and professional direction and guidance to the workforce for facilities management, operations, maintenance, repair and minor construction, and safety and quality control.
  • Perform Project Management and Project Engineering activities in support of multi-discipline projects under minimal supervision.
  • Develops and implements processes, procedures, and initiatives to effectively and successfully execute contract requirements, monitor progress, enhance performance, and address and resolve performance deficiencies.
  • Ensuring assigned projects are completed on time, and within approved scope and budget.
  • Maintaining effective communication with the Government, sharing knowledge, demonstrating a business-like concern for the client’s interests, and facilitating program integration.
  • Effective and efficient management and leadership of the contracting organization’s resources to meet all specifications and expectations of the contract.
  • Ensuring contract performance in accordance with the direction and policies of NIKA.
  • Works closely with staff in developing and implementing strategies, processes, and initiatives in order to achieve customer satisfaction, and meet and/or exceed performance requirements.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the management and supervision of building mechanical maintenance operations for multi-story federal buildings greater than 25,000 SF
  • Relevant Experience must be in the last seven (7) years
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
