NIKA is hiring for a Project Planning Manager (PPM) to provide support services on a base operations support services contract at AF Maui, HI!

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides management and planning of all construction activities for Air Force Facilities in Maui Hawaii. and
  • Responsible for assigning craftsmen to work orders.
  • Coordinates with subcontractors and vendors throughout projects.
  • Inspects work areas for safety and compliance.
  • Provides a high level of facility maintenance and construction knowledge and experience.
  • Responsible for managing minor construction activities.
  • Maintain safe working environment with attention towards site and personnel security.
  • Develops and implements construction management strategies to ensure projects are completed timely, cost schedules, and that all quality processes are complied with.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of five years of experience with sustainment, renovation, and minor construction project scoping, estimating, and scheduling related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire alarm and suppression, and interior and exterior architecture-related systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management from a program certified by the ABET or by National Architecture Accrediting Board preferred
  • US Military/Air Force experience preferred.
  • Experience with FARS, DFARS, and other federal regulatory guidance, laws, and requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required
