NIKA is hiring for a Quality Analysis Review Technician who will support the Government in real property policy development and establishing standardized inventory procedure applicable to all Air Force Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in San Antonio, TX!

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring real property inventory assets are accurately documented /reflected/replicated between the actual physical inventory and data residing in Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) Facility Management (FM) and LogiCole at the time the analysis is completed.
  • Performs quality analysis review of all DHA medically coded real property facilities, rooms, sections and RPIE inventories/validations performed by others to ensure compliance with AFI, DHA, AFMSA/SG8F, the Real Property Systems Standards (RPSS), and DMLSS/LogiCole operational guidance.
  • Shall have demonstrated knowledge of building codes, standards, directives, and criteria governing the operation, maintenance and repair of medical treatment facilities, including, but not limited to Air Force Instructions (AFI), Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Occupational Safety, Health Administration (OSHA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and RSMeans. Working knowledge of DMLSS, BUILDER, and other DoD real property databases.

Job Requirements and Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in medical facility operations, maintenance, and repair of medical facility systems.
  • Ten (10) years of commercial building experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, must be able to communicate with people at all levels of experience and rank,
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Able to travel on regular basis. Up to 50%
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, adobe PDFs. Apple iOS file creation, storage and movement between iPad and PC is a strength.
  • Must be able to perform up to of 25,000 walking steps per day, climb ladders, traverse roofs, have a working safety knowledge of operational RPIE, and confined spaces.
