NIKA is hiring for two O&M Quality Assurance Technicians to support an upcoming contract for the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (MRDC) in Fort Detrick, MD.

Position Description

  • The quality assurance technicians will be responsible for validating O&M preventive and service order services provided
  • One technician will be dedicated to US Army Research Institute for Infectious Diseases
    (USAMRIID) and the other will be dedicated to US Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC)
  • The technicians will be required to utilize the DMLSS FM system to document
    their findings.
  • DMLSS FM system automatically selects preventive maintenance and service orders for quality assurances (normally 10% of service orders performed) and management can also select and direct additional services orders.
  • The quality assurance technician will need mechanical/technical knowledge
    of the systems being inspected.
  • Utilizing the preventive maintenance order/service order the technician
    will inspect either concurrently or retrospectively the work performed by the maintenance technician.
  • The generated service order provides detailed procedures the maintenance technician should follow to perform the maintenance on the real property installed equipment they are servicing.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of quality assurance technician experience required, preferably for a government/military facility 
  • Must be able to obtain a government issued clearance access card (CAC)
