NIKA is hiring for a Quality Control Inspector (QCI) to provide support services for a base operations support services contract at Fort Wainwright, AK!

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring contract work to assure compliance with Government requirements.
  • Track construction deficiencies from identification through acceptable corrective action.
  • Report progress in the QC reports and submit to the Government.
  • Supervise all Special Inspectors required by the contract documents and the International Building Code (IBC).
  • Knowledge of and commitment to safety.
  • Experienced in providing written daily reports on construction activities.
  • Familiar with current building codes and inspection requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Expected to be on site during normal duty hours.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of two years of documented experience in quality control of construction and/or maintenance of building equipment.
  • Experience with FARS, DFARS, and other federal regulatory guidance, laws, and requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required
