NIKA is hiring for a Quality Control (QC) Manager to provide support services on a base operations support services contract at AF Maui, HI!

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for implementing the Quality Control Program (QCP), developing quality control metrics and checklists, collecting data, conducting analysis, and auditing BOS performance area.
  • Responsible for safety compliance and collecting data for customer support.
  • Enforce project quality control plans and associated standards.
  • Perform inspection of all work center monthly
  • Chair monthly QC briefings to senior management and customer.
  • Manage, schedule, review, and certify all submittals for client review and approval.
  • Conduct periodic follow up inspections to verify that work is proceeding in accordance with the PWS and corrective action plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of five years of experience as a Quality Control Manager within DoD Civil Engineering facilities, maintenance, repair and operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in business related program
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, quality control and safety plans, and be able to interpret and enforce as appropriate, OSHA safety requirements. Ability to learn and understand the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • In-depth knowledge or quality control procedures and legal standards
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Must have a current valid driver’s license and qualitied to operate a vehicle
