NIKA is hiring for a Quality Control Manager (QCM) to provide quality control support services for a Base Operation Support Services contract at Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois!

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for the process control, quality data overarching (OA), quality auditing, statistical sampling, and subcontractor quality control for the contract. 
  • Responsible for the overall management and implementation of the Quality Control Plan.
  • Oversee and Manage the QC program to provide an effective and efficient means of identifying and correcting problems and continually improving the quality of the work performed.
  • Implement correction action procedures to correct service deficiencies and ensure that they do not recur.
  • Ensure full compliance with all performance objectives and standards.
  • Document, measure, control, and improve the quality processes.
  • Ensuring contract performance in accordance with the direction and policies of NIKA.
  • The Quality Control Manager shall be available on-site during normal duty hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in process control, quality data overarching (OA) Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Base Operations and Maintenance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Control Manager.
  • Individual should be familiar with government organization and functions; understand current procurement best practices; able to organize and express ideas through excellent oral and written communications to a wide variety of audiences; and demonstrate an unquestionable sense of integrity, honesty, and loyalty.
  • Background and knowledge of the practices, procedures and processes of contracts administration; knowledge of relevant laws, FAR, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing contracts.
