DMLSS Program Support Specialist


Department: DMLSS Program Support Specialist
Location: SAN ANTONIO, TX


NIKA is hiring for a DMLSS Program Support Specialist who will provide support services to the DHA DMLS/LogiCole Program Manager and be responsible for coordinating and overseeing contract related tasks and ensuring compliance with project requirements.  This position will be based out of San Antonio, TX or remote from your home base.

Position Roles and Responsibilities 

Coordinate travel requests and process travel expense reports in accordance with contract guidelines
Organize, compile, and submit Monthly Assessment Reports (MARs) and other recurring deliverables
Approve and review timesheets/PTO requests of personnel under your perspective contract
Assist with monitoring and managing contract and travel budgets, helping to ensure costs remain within authorized limits
Ensuring all of your personnel have proper equipment/materials and replenishing/ordering when needed
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to contract performance
Manage and track contract-required training certifications to ensure timely completion and compliance
Assist with compiling data and generating reports to support program performance and planning
Assist HR with filling/interviewing for any open positions on the contract
Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and clients regarding program support needs
Support all administrative and operational tasks related to contract execution
Ensure that all program activities are aligned with compliance requirements and internal standards

Position Requirements

2+ years of experience in program or administrative support (government contracting experience preferred, but not mandatory)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and reporting
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities
Familiarity with contract reporting requirements or government documentation is a plus
Possess an active favorable NACI
