Thad Christensen, P.E. is a senior fire protection engineer in NIKA’s Architecture, Engineering and Planning Group. With more than 17 years of fire protection and life safety experience, it is his mission to safeguard his clients’ valuable facilities and those who inhabit them.

Thad has extensive experience working in highly secure environments for a diverse group of military and government agencies, including the Army, Navy, CIA, NSA, OBO, and NAVFAC, to name a few. He specializes in life safety code analysis, building code compliance, fire alarm/fire suppression certification, design drawings, and statements of conditions.

Thad earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Arizona and holds professional engineering certification (P.E.) in fire protection in Maryland, Virginia, and Arkansas. As an active member of the industry, Thad is a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
