NIKA Awarded Capital Investment Decision Model and Capital Strategy Management Support Contract to Support the Defense Health Agency Facilities Enterprise

NIKA is pleased to announce the award of a new facilities investment support contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Center to provide the Defense Health Agency Facilities Enterprise (DHA-FE) with Capital Investment Decision Modeling (CIDM) and Capital Strategy Management (CSM) support.

Under this contract, NIKA will assist DHA-FE leadership in developing and prioritizing facilities investment requirements for all military healthcare facilities for future construction/renovation across the DHA enterprise. CIDM is the strategic prioritization process and set of tools that enable DHA-FE to fulfill this mission. CIDM reconciles the real property data sets used throughout the DHA enterprise to facilitate scoring and other activities that are involved in planning for future construction and/or renovation of DHA facilities. CIDM also provides critical information for all processes related to planning and document validation.

NIKA will oversee the planning and implementation the initial event of CIDM Next–CIDM 7 series, providing complete, detailed project packages for executive level investment decisions, and providing detailed process documentation of the CIDM Next processes.

Additionally, the contract supports the development of policy for DHA’s Capital Strategy Management.  NIKA will provide assistance in recommending new DHA policies, guidance, and instructions for review for project approvals, training, transition planning, military construction (MILCON) planning and prioritization, and operating model and concept of operations.

The contract will be performed at DHA’s Falls Church, VA location and has a duration of one year with two option years.
