NIKA is hiring for an Assistant Project Manager who will be provide support services for a base operations support services contract at the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Grounds in Yuma, AZ!

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as an alternate Project Manager during short-term absences of the PM.
  • The APM shall be technically qualified in the field of Project Manager and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) including the supervision of a diversified work force responsible for 24-hour (24/7/365) operations, maintenance and repair of medical facility systems.
  • Will provide assistant to the PM for technical and professional direction and guidance to the workforce for facilities management, operations, maintenance, repair and minor construction, safety and quality control, and environmental management.
  • Ensuring assigned projects are completed on time, and within approved scope and budget.
  • Ensuring contract performance in accordance with the direction and policies of NIKA.
  • Works closely with the PM and staff in developing and implementing strategies, processes, and initiatives in order to achieve customer satisfaction, and meet and/or exceed performance requirements.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of two (2) years of managerial/operations experience
  • Minimum of one (1) years as the Alternate Project Manager (PM) on an Operation and Maintenance (O&M) contract greater than $5 million/year
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required, higher education preferred
  • Experience in minor construction and repair cost estimates preferred
  • Experience with FARS, DFARS, and other federal regulatory guidance, laws, and requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required
