NIKA is hiring for a Program Manager to provide overall management and supervision to all personnel assigned to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) FOM Support Services contract in Pasadena, CA! This is for a potential opportunity that would be awarded mid-year 2024.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing leadership, management, oversight, and execution of a wide variety of facilities maintenance and operations support contract requirements.
  • Prepares the monthly and weekly sub-tier contractor preventive maintenance, CM, TCs, Repair, FSA and cFSA work schedule.
  • Responsible for planning, directing, and organizing all facets of their contractual responsibilities.
  • Developing schedules, formulating work plans, managing, and controlling resources.
  • Serving as point of contact with NASA, Government CO and COR, Task Monitors and/or customer personnel.
  • Develops and implements processes, procedures, and initiatives to effectively and successfully execute contract requirements, monitor progress, enhance performance, and address and resolve performance.
  • Ensuring assigned projects are completed on time, and within approved scope and budget.
  • Maintaining effective communication with the Client/Government, sharing knowledge, demonstrating a business-like concern for the client’s interests, and facilitating program integration.
  • Effective and efficient management and leadership of the contracting organization’s resources to meet all specifications and expectations of the contract.
  • Ensuring contract performance in accordance with the direction and policies of NIKA.
  • The PM will have the authority to act on behalf of NIKA on all matters related to the performance of this contract.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 15 years of related Program Management experience required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent field required.
  • Experience with managing Government contracting requirements included in the FAR, Government Furnished Equipment and Materials, Property Accountability, and Work Control.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain an access card to the site.
