NIKA is hiring for a Quality Manager who will be responsible for the performance of all quality control functions for a Base Operating Services (BOS) contract for NAVFAC Southeast! Sites required will include Kansas City and St. Louis.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Primary duty and responsibility are to prepare, implement and enforce the Quality Management program.
• The Quality Manager shall be on-site at all times when the Contractor is performing work during the Government’s regular working hours and shall be available on-site within 24 hours of government request.
• The Quality Manager shall report directly to a senior corporate official and shall not report directly to the Project Manager.
• Maintains positive relationships with field crews, contractors, suppliers, and owners.
• Enforces and promotes safe work practices for all personnel onsite, per company safety policy.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site, including the construction office.

Required Qualifications:

• The Quality Manager shall have at least three (3)  years of experience in preparing and enforcing QMS programs on contracts of similar size, scope and complexity. CMQ/OE Certification required.
• Working experience with NFPA, EPA, TJC, OSHA codes and standards.
• Can demonstrate good communication and organizational skills that are required for government design/build projects and for daily interaction with government construction management staff.
